Is there a fee associated with the credentialing process?

Yes, the fee structure is as follows:

What documentation or evidence do I need to provide?

Based on these eligibility requirements, you would have to provide documentation and mentee references based on these pages for Certified Associate MentorCertified Professional Mentor, and Certified Master Mentor

What is the estimated review time after submitting the credential application?

The estimated review time is 4 to 6 weeks for those with mentoring training from IMC-accredited programs and 8 to 10 weeks for non-accredited programs.

What is the validity of these credentials?

Yes, the validity of your credential only remains for two years; hence, you will have to review it periodically. The renewal process starts by submitting an application and sending your endorsed training hours report. To be eligible for a renewal, the credential holder must have at least 25 hours of endorsed training points.

What are the requirements for obtaining the CMM credential?

  • Complete 120 hours of mentoring training hours (IMC-accredited or non-accredited)
  • 15 years of professional experience
  • Mentoring Program Details (mentoring topics, outline of any module, a presentation, and other material used during mentoring)
  • 5 References from Mentees
  • 1 Article Submission on approach and philosophy of mentoring
  • 300 hours of Mentoring Practice Post Training

What are the requirements for obtaining the CPM credential?

  • Complete 60 hours of mentoring training hours (IMC-accredited or non-accredited)
  • Ten years of professional experience
  • Mentoring Program Details (mentoring topics, outline of any module, a presentation, and other material used during mentoring)
  • 5 References from Mentees
  • Estimated review time – 4 to 6 weeks; 8 to 10 weeks for non-accredited programs

What are the requirements for obtaining the CAM credential?

  • Complete 30 hours of mentoring training hours (IMC accredited or non-accredited)
  • Five years of professional experience
  • 2 References from Mentees
  • Estimated review time – 4 to 6 weeks; 8 to 10 weeks for non-accredited programs

What is the credential application process for individuals?

  • Once you have signed in to your dashboard, you can check the list of our requirements on the credentials page and find the badge for which you are eligible.
  • Now, you can provide your mentoring experience and training hours, mentoring program, and relevant information to assure your eligibility.
  • Finally, make your payment.
  • Once submitted, we will review your application, which usually takes four to ten weeks. We will ask for clarification if and when needed.
