IMC in Tajikistan

Regional integration, tech acceleration, women’s entrepreneurship, and more—Tajikistan is charging at the future boosted by the strength of its mentorship networks. Tajik SMEs receive structural guidance to navigate a rapidly evolving market, which is supported by leading international institutions like EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development). Through its recently opened online mentoring platform, MicroMentor.tj, EBRD connects Tajik business owners with a global network of over 420,000 entrepreneurs and 120,000 mentors across 180 countries.

The Mentoring for Women Entrepreneurs initiative has delivered excellent results.  Cross-border collaborations such as that of IT Park, Dushanbe with the Central Asian Hubs Alliance grant it structured access to international tech exhibitions and global investors. Other initiatives put the Tajik ecosystem in touch with US-based accelerators and Silicon Valley founders.

Mentoring, with the help of IMC Tajikistan, is undoubtedly set to take the nation to great heights. It helps the nation integrate better with the Central Asian economies, thus raising the potential for access to more funding and competing on the international stage.

Accreditation Process

How Organizations in Tajikistan Can Get IMC Accreditation

To maintain the highest level of standards in global mentoring, IMC has a rigorous review system to audit your organization’s program quality as part of our strict accreditation process requirements in Tajikistan.

Your organization can opt to provide a mentoring program with more than 20 hours of training or a shorter one. This can get you a training accreditation or an endorsed training accreditation.

Your program must include mentoring skills and domain or knowledge development so as to be eligible for accreditation. Every program must incorporate the following three sections compulsorily:

The IMC Definition of Mentoring
The IMC Code of Conduct and Ethics
The IMC Core Competencies (minimum of 3 must for accreditation)

The programs must provide participants with the necessary skills for each credential and ensure that the trainer is the primary mentor supervisor for at least a year.

The accreditation will be valid for three years from the date of issue.

The Accreditation Application Flow

The entire accreditation application process takes around four to six weeks.

Stage 1: Organization Details

Stage 2: Program Details

Stage 3: Instructor Details

Stage 4: Terms and Conditions

Following a successful review, you’ll receive an email notification confirming your IMC accreditation status and a media kit to display your accreditation.
