IMC in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is on course to achieve its vision 2030 initiative to diversify its economy away from just hydrocarbon sales and exports. In spite of occasional global headwinds, the country’s dedication in this regard shows good progress. Strong support for mentoring coupled with economic reforms has opened up opportunities for Saudi citizens to expand their horizons and also attract more FDI into the country.

Monsha’at (the general authority for SMEs) has put in a massive institutional architecture in place that includes mentoring networks and incubators. This connects SME stakeholders directly with experienced business leaders towards increasing the SME contribution to the national GDP from 20% to 35% by 2030. Integrating mentoring with active funding has been able to help propel the Kingdom’s status to that of a regional venture capital leader.

The International Mentoring Center is very excited to be part of the country’s mentoring ecosystem, helping it set the standards that would take their businesses to a global level.

Accreditation Process

How Organizations in Saudi Arabia Can Get IMC Accreditation

To maintain the highest level of standards in global mentoring, IMC has a rigorous review system to audit your organization’s program quality as part of our strict accreditation process requirements in Saudi Arabia.

Your organization can opt to provide a mentoring program with more than 20 hours of training or a shorter one. This can get you a training accreditation or an endorsed training accreditation.

Your program must include mentoring skills and domain or knowledge development so as to be eligible for accreditation. Every program must incorporate the following three sections compulsorily:

The programs must provide participants with the necessary skills for each credential and ensure that the trainer is the primary mentor supervisor for at least a year.

The accreditation will be valid for three years from the date of issue.
