Opportunities as a Member of IMC Jamaica
We are excited to expand our mentoring network both globally and domestically, with Kingston and Montego Bay being two of the key focus areas. The IMC Jamaica Region invites you to become a part of a network of mentors committed to using mentoring to drive societal progress. There are many ways to volunteer with the IMC Jamaica region and drive positive change in your community and locality in Jamaica. You can also become an active member by leading a local chapter and participating in community events. It’s more than just giving back; mentors and mentees gain new mentoring skills, build meaningful connections, and make a significant impact in their communities.
As a chapter leader, you will have an effect on the mentoring community by organizing events and other community-led activities for the International Mentoring Centre (IMC) in Jamaica. IMC will recognize your efforts in establishing mentoring programs, collaborating with other volunteers, and increasing community involvement, and you will be eligible for Mentor Development Credits (MDCs) whenever you renew your credentials.
As a leader, you gain access to exclusive IMC content that will help you in your role as an IMC Jamaica region leader and in your professional and personal growth through mentoring and certifications. This allows you to make a difference in Jamaica’s regional mentoring community.
